9月9日，AI视觉芯片研发及基础算力平台公司——爱芯科技正式更名为——爱芯元智半导体（上海）有限公司（简称“爱芯元智”），并宣布完成品牌升级。品牌升级后的爱芯元智将向行业及合作伙伴传递全新的品牌理念、品牌元素、技术产品方向和落地情况等一系列内容。

据了解，此次爱芯元智品牌名称变更灵感来自其英文名AXERA——意为爱芯的时代，同时诠释了爱芯元智的技术独创性，和保持初心、坚持原创的企业理念。不仅体现了爱芯元智作为创业公司的朝气和活力，更是代表了其品牌愿景——成为AI视觉芯片行业领导企业。“爱芯元智本身传达了我们的理念，即爱芯的era（时代），我们希望依靠我们的原创性技术和产品，通过我们的努力把相关产业带入一个爱芯元智开创的时代。”爱芯元智创始人兼首席执行官仇肖莘博士表示。

除了名称上的变更，在此次品牌升级中，爱芯元智还传达了公司的全新发展方向——将更加注重边缘侧和端侧的人工智能芯片研发，将AI的能力发挥到极致，为世界的数字化和智能化新基建提供边缘侧和端侧的支持。
